We at the Danish Seamen’s Church in New York will once again will host the annual Danish Christmas Fair at our building on 102 Willow Street in Brooklyn Heights. This year it will take place on November 20+21, both days 10am-4pm.

We will serve our delicious homemade spherical Danish Pancakes, known as “aebleskiver” and our delicious version of mulled wine, known as “glögg” (the Pastor’s own recipe). And of course you will have the opportunity to try a Danish hotdog - with all the traditional toppings.

At the market, anyone with an interest in Danish culture or Danish roots will have the opportunity to either try something completely new or stock up on salted liquorice, Danish “brown cakes”, pork loins, Danish design, remoulade, canned mackerel in tomato, calendar candles, marzipan, liver-pâté, rice pudding, and all things Christmassy and Danish – including the world famous Danish term: “hygge”.

Remember to wear a mask when indoors. Indoor dining requires valid proof of vaccination and ID. Our backyard is also open for outdoor dining.
